Woman‘ ‘ Series bringing a new physicality to Gender
Dynamics. March 2008There is a
rising awareness across the world that women are becoming a force to be
reckoned with in today’s emerging economic revolution. New evidence on
women is coming fast off the press in books such as ‘Why Women Mean
Business’ by Avivah Wittenberg-Cox and Alison Maitland who clearly
state the case for women to recognise the economic impact to be made. “It’s
a serious business issue, not a female issue”, quote Wittenberg-Cox and
Maitland, and at last we start to realize the coming together of many
small changes over decades that combine to transform women of every age
into a more talented, more entrepreneurial female power in a world
which has been run largely by men. A world where men and women have
